“Write a new post in response to today’s one-word prompt(DENIAL)…”

We are still in the midst of Holy Week, which commemorates the final week of the life of Jesus Christ; Now, I would very much like to tell you something…Easter is not really about the candy or the chocolate bunnies or even the Easter Bunny…It is about the fact that our Savior Jesus Christ had been denied and crucified for each and every one of us as the payment for all of our sins, both past and present.

The Holy Bible, God’s most blessed Word, explains the ways of that certain word called denial, and they are:

“If we endure hardship, we will reign with Him. If we deny Him, He will deny us. If we are unfaithful, He remains faithful, for He cannot deny Who He is.” (2 Timothy 2:12-13, NLT)

“Such people claim they know God, but they deny Him by the way they live. They are detestable and disobedient, worthless for doing anything good.” (Titus 1:16, NLT)

“But there were also false prophets in Israel, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will cleverly teach destructive heresies and even deny the Master who bought them. In this way, they will bring sudden destruction on themselves.” (2 Peter 2:1, NLT)

“I say this because many deceivers have gone out into the world. They deny that Jesus Christ came in a real body. Such a person is a deceiver and an antichrist.” (2 John 7, NLT)

And so with that, my dearest friends, on this Holy Week, do not ever deny the real, true menaing of Easter; Remember these verses of Scripture while not ever forgetting this: Jesus was denied and was crucified for each and every one of us.
