Welcome, all of you bloggers and blog followers out there, to this very special series that pays heartfelt tribute to this very great country of ours that we call America in honor of its upcoming 241st birthday…
It is so very easy to answer the very simple question of why we live in the United States of America: Because America surely is a free country, but it comes at a cost. The Declaration of Independence was ratified on July the 4th, marking the birth of our nation, but ever since that time, many people have been fighting in wars, thereby making the ultimate sacrifice for their lives for each and every one of us to live in a country that certainly is “…the land of the free, and the home of the brave”.
For the next few days, we will be taking a look at the things that are so very much a part of America, from American music to inventions to food, while we also trace the roots of the history of two of the greatest American songs of all time, “America The Beautiful” and “God Bless America”.
I have done as very much as I have possibly could in terms of research to cover as much as possible about America; If I had missed anything, I would like to offer my heartfelt apologies.
Once again, welcome to this very special series as we all say, “To America, With Love” !
